Walter Strandell

As a Project Developer, Walter advances Polarnode’s data center projects through their earliest stages, from site identification to environmental permitting. Combining a background in renewable energy development with hands-on experience in environmental engineering, he brings a strong understanding of the permitting processes and early groundwork that shape a project long before construction begins.

Before joining Polarnode, Walter worked as a Junior Project Manager at ABO Energy, where he was involved in renewable energy development and environmental permitting. Previously, as an Environmental Engineer at Boliden, he worked on mine closure planning and permitting.

Walter holds an M.Sc. in Geology and Earth Sciences from Åbo Akademi University.
