Pietari Keskinen joins Polarnode as Head of Project Development to spearhead Polarnode’s project portfolio development

Keskinen joins Polarnode during a time when the company is finalising the investment readiness of its most progressed projects. Furthermore, Polarnode is continuing to expand its project portfolio in Finland. Pietari will be a key resource in ensuring the quality, speed of execution and scope of Polarnode’s future projects. 

Before joining Polarnode, Pietari worked as a Project Development Manager at ib vogt in 2025 and at Ilmatar Energy between 2022-2025. During this time, Pietari permitted over 350 MW of projects to a ready to build stage and he has led work on multiple environmental impact assessment and building permit processes. Pietari has an M.Sc in Finance and Industrial Engineering from the University of Lappeenranta. 

“Pietari is a highly experienced project developer whose skillset in land management, permitting and investment preparations allow Polarnode to expand its project portfolio”, comments Mikko Toivanen, Chairman of the Board for Polarnode.  

Pietari joined the team in August and has already taken lead in Polarnode’s project development activities.
